Case Study
Who:
NHS Trust of 6000 employees and support staff
Why:
Circles had been in discussions with the Trust, to provide concierge services to employees and patients of the hospital. With the current crisis, the hospital decided that they needed to support their workers immediately and couldn’t wait for the summer. The opportunity also increased beyond the one hospital to the entire Trust, covering two hospitals and three community centres. The main reason was around allowing key workers to combat presenteeism and reducing distractions, enabling the worker to focus on the task at hand. The secondary and tertiary reasons were around maximising their downtime, recognising that the key workers were spending longer at work, over more days, and the little time they had was precious and didn’t want this taken up with chores/admin/issues etc. and simply showing that the Trust cared and wanted the workers to know and feel this.
