Boredom busters for couples Chances are you and your significant other will never have spent so much time in each other’s company. Here’s how to keep your cool on your lockdown honeymoon…
  1. Build your connection. Could you name your partner’s favourite album, book and movie? Take some time to listen, read and watch each other’s favourites before asking each other a quick-fire quiz based on each.
  2. Fill your travel bucket list. Holidays may not be imminent, but they’re by no means off the table. Pour yourselves a glass of your favourite holiday tipple and start planning your dream trips home and abroad, or play pot-luck by closing your eyes and pointing to a random destination on a map.
  3. Date night. Staying in is clearly the new going out, so make it perfect! Plan and prepare your favourite meal, pop some wine in the fridge and cut the labels off those new clothes gathering dust. Arrange a meeting time and location eg; 8pm at the front door, head to the restaurant (kitchen) for your gourmet dinner, onto the bar (sofa) for some drinks and see where the night takes you!
Unleash your inner Picasso.  If it worked for Leo and Kate in Titanic, it can work for you too, hopefully with a happier ending! Spending time looking into your partner’s eyes has been shown to increase bonding and intimacy. So, grab some paper and pens and set up your own artist’s studio, taking turns to draw portraits.
